A Weekend Of Outings

It was so nice to get out of the house this weekend! On Friday we went to the family picnic at Stu's dad's work. It was Hawaiian themed and they had an awesome all-you-can-eat buffet of shredded pork carnitas, coconut rice and chicken, and fresh fruit, plus free snow cones! It was a beautiful day and Mollie fell asleep so we were able to spend almost 3 hours there.

Then on Saturday we went out to the Art on Fire exhibit at the Transportation Museum out in the valley where they were doing black-smithing and iron-casting. We got there towards the end of it when they were pouring out the extra melted metal and opening up the sand casts to reveal what they had casted...

Mollie fell asleep here too and was wearing the cutest hat so I had to get a picture..
