Whittier and "Walking"

On Wednesday we went down to Whittier with my family. I've never been there so it was cool going through the loooong tunnel and coming out into the little town. It was really windy! We had lunch at a nice restaurant right next to the water where there was a HUGE cruise ship in the dock, and we were the only people in the dining room. An eagle carrying a fish was flying around outside also.

On our way back, we stopped at the wildlife conservation center where you get to drive your car through a big park with different Alaskan animals fenced off. The coolest thing by far was the grizzly bears! Stu's family had gone there on the 4th of July and the bears were way off in the distance but this time they were right by the fence...

Here's a video of Mollie standing up with Stu supporting her. She's really good at bearing her weight. At one point she is just holding onto Stu's fingers and it looks like she takes a step right before she falls down! The video is sideways though because I can't figure out how to get it right-side-up.
